LoLo Spencer Photography is a location-based lifestyle portrait photography business, specializing in capturing authentic real-life moments that help tell your story. What I love most about what I do is capturing true emotion and personality. You be you, and I’ll do the rest.
All of my sessions are done with intention and purpose, so getting to know a little about you is crucial. It helps me customize each session and create photos that will be loved and cherished for years to come, photos you’ll be happy to pass on to future generations.
Whether you’re looking to update your family portraits, capture a lifetime event (engagements, maternity, newborns, milestone birthdays, etc.) or capture the everyday little moments that reflect a day in the life of your family, we’ll do it in a relaxed and natural way.
Random Stuff About Me ... in case you were wondering
I grew up in Ventura and though I haven’t lived there in quite a few years I still have ‘roots’ there with family and friends. So it's only natural that a lot of my photography work is in the Ventura - Conejo Valley areas.
My Dad gave me my first camera years ago (um, before the internet and well before digital cameras were even a thing) when I lived in England so that I could send my family photographs and I haven’t stopped snapping since.
I am a total map geek! Yup! I can get lost for hours just reading maps (metaphorically, obvs!) True!
Family and friends, art galleries and museums are my fav things. Perhaps a bit cliché but so true.
I joined Professional Photographers of America to continue my education and keep up with the latest trends and standards of practice in the photography world.
I worked for many years in the medical field before my photography hobby morphed into my full-time business.
I’ve written and photographed recipe books for family members as well as family history and ancestry books.
I am proud to be a third a generation Mexican-American on my Dad’s paternal side of the family.
It’s taken me a long time to write about “me” because I’d much rather talk about you. Really.
