Family photos don’t have to feel stiff, stressful or overly posed. My approach to family photography is relaxed, gently guided and centered around the real connections that make your family uniquely yours.
As a Los Angeles and Ventura County family photographer, I create natural, heartfelt portraits of families at every stage, from the beautifully busy years with little ones to multigenerational gatherings and everything in between. I’ll offer direction when you need it, while leaving plenty of room for genuine expressions, laughter and those wonderfully unscripted moments that often become favorite photographs.
Your session can take place at a location that holds special meaning for your family, one of Southern California’s beautiful outdoor settings, or right at home. In-home family photography can be an especially comfortable option for young children and pets, allowing everyone to settle in, relax and simply be themselves while I work with the best available light and surroundings.
The goal is never perfection. It’s to create photographs that feel natural, connected and unmistakably like your family, preserving not only what this chapter of life looked like, but what it felt like too.

Family Photo Sessions
THE DETAILS
Family sessions are available in two options: the Classic Family Session includes up to one hour of on-location photography, while the Deluxe Family Session includes up to two hours for families who would like additional time, wardrobe changes or greater variety. Custom sessions may also be available upon request.
All family portrait packages include the following:

Pre-session consultation to discuss what your vision is, your personal style, wardrobe choice, locations, etc.

Session Prep Guide in PDF to download.

Online proof gallery to choose your favorite images.

On-line password-protected web-album that you can view and share with family and friends on your smartphone or tablet.

High-resolution web photo gallery that includes a secure shopping cart for ordering professionally processed prints and merchandise. Family and friends can purchase print and/or merchandise orders directly from the web gallery.

All final images chosen by you are fully edited and include a basic "polish" including simple acne and blemish removal. More detailed or complex edits such as head swaps can be ordered for an additional fee that will be determined on the edit requested.

I do not remove permanent features such as scars, birthmarks, moles, etc. unless specifically requested, which would be done for an additional fee.

I DO remove and/or lightly edit any obvious acne, bruises, temporary scars/scabs, basically anything that would normally be a temporary feature.

I do not remove or obliterate wrinkles and lines. Why would I? If you’ve got them, you've earned them so I treat them with the care and love they deserve by gently softening and minimizing them to show you at your best you, not a plasticized version.
Deluxe Family Portrait Session:

IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW

A non-refundable initial payment equal to 50% of the session fee, along with a signed photography contract, is required to reserve your session date and time. The remaining balance is due at the time of the session.

Payment method: you'll receive an invoice via email with a secure link for payment. Most major credit and debit cards are accepted.

48 hour notice is required to reschedule.

Locations which require permits, parking or entrance fees is the responsibility of the client.

A travel fee may apply to locations 75 miles or more from ZIP code 91607.
