Although I'm a portrait and lifestyle photographer based in Southern California, from time to time I get the opportunity to travel for special events and occasions. I love to travel, so when I was contacted by two families in northern California to come up to shoot their family Holiday photos I leapt at the chance!
This post features the Powers family and their adorable pupsters, Penny Lane and Posey, their newest tribe member.
Katelyn and Loren were married last year and I had the honor of photographing their engagement session in Santa Barbara and Montecito. Needless to say, I was beyond elated when they asked me to photograph their first family photo session with their adorable pups, Penny Lane and Posey.
They are down-to-earth couple who love nature and being outdoors so choosing Vasona Park in the charming town of Los Gatos turned out to be the perfect location for a Holiday Family Session. As they wended their way through this beautiful park, I followed closely along capturing the sweetest moments.
One of the most rewarding things I enjoy about being a lifestyle and portrait photographer is spending time with families and their pets. These two adorable pups were quite popular among the other park goers and there were many stops and conversations about them as we meandered through this stunning park.
