A family with big dreams, down to earth style, and deep roots in the communities they love.

There are families you meet who leave an impression, not because they’re trying to, but because of the way they move through the world. That’s exactly the feeling I had spending time with Michael, Tracy, and their amazing teenager, Belos.
Rooted in Real Estate and Real Life
From the moment you meet them, the Mallozzi-Okun family feels refreshingly real. They're accomplished, yes, leaders in the world of real estate but what makes them special is how grounded and connected they are. Their love for each other is clear, and their story is one of both success and soul.
They once lived in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles, in a historic building that still holds a special place in their hearts. DTLA’s creative energy and rich history helped shape their family’s early years and you can still feel that urban vibe in their style and spirit. Today, they call Valley Village home, a move that made sense both personally and professionally.
Michael began his real estate journey right there in Valley Village, where he quickly built a name for himself as a trusted and top-performing agent. His passion for real estate is matched by his genuine care for people, and it’s easy to see why so many clients become lifelong friends.
Tracy brought her marketing brilliance into the mix after a successful corporate career. Now a key partner in the Michael J. Okun Real Estate Group at Sotheby’s International Realty, Tracy adds a smart, strategic touch to everything she does, from branding to negotiations. Together, they make an incredible team.
And then there’s Belos: edgy, intelligent, and entirely their own person. With a distinct sense of style and a fearless attitude, Belos brings a fresh, creative energy to the family dynamic. They’re the kind of teen who doesn’t just follow trends, they set them.
Photographing the Mallozzi-Okun family felt less like a session and more like a conversation. There’s something effortlessly cool about them, but it never overshadows their warmth. They’re a reminder that success doesn’t have to come at the expense of authenticity and that family is still the most important foundation of all.
The day may have been overcast, cold, and grey but that didn’t diminish the warmth and bright energy this family naturally exudes. Their light showed up in every frame.
I’m so excited to share this glimpse into their world and the connection that makes their story uniquely theirs. Explore a few of my favorite shots from their session below ...
