This post is all about definition #1. above.
Whether first-time parents or seasoned experts, a babymoon is a wonderful way for couples to connect with each other and just bathe in the joy of expecting their baby. It's a time to stop, unwind and take in all that blissful vacation-ness before life turns the page and a busy new chapter begins.
When Taylor and Brant, a charming couple from Texas, were expecting their first child, they did just that and planned a babymoon in Southern California. Santa Barbara was first on their destination agenda and I was honored that they booked a maternity session with me to document this rather special time in their lives.
They specifically wanted a beach photoshoot and though recent winter storms had pretty much ravaged every beach, the natural beauty of Santa Barbara was clearly abundant. Despite being littered with mounds of debris and driftwood, Santa Barbara's beaches still made the perfect backdrop to create some beautiful memories that they're sure to enjoy in the years to come ...
