One of the most rewarding (and one of my favorite) photo sessions of all to do is in-home newborn photo sessions. Here's why ....
Newborn photography may be among the most labor intensive and challenging, but there is something so gratifying knowing that I’m documenting a fleeting moment in time that would otherwise be forgotten or at least hard to recall in minute detail.
It's all about capturing the little things that are unique to newborn babies during the few weeks of life. The way they curl up in a tiny ball as though still in utero, their impossibly tiny little fingers and toes, the baby fur and little flakes and the cutest little back rolls among other things. It’s incredibly heart-warming being enveloped by the purest adorableness imaginable for the few hours I spend with Newborns and their families.
All that newborn uniqueness surely does evaporate in the blink of an eye and It fills me with gratitude and pride when I’m entrusted with capturing the first portraits of a family's most precious member with a newborn photography session at home.
